we love summer, yes- we do.

fresh ripe figs, lightly roasted, wrapped in thin slices of prosciutto.
heirloom tomatoes, sprinkled with a little salt and freshly ground pepper.
red chard and sweet young spinach, sauteed with garlic and shallots in olive oil.
peaches so big and juicy I eat them over the sink, the juice running down my arm.
yum.
