what's new

Lately I've been spending more time in the East Bay than I have in over 11 years of living in San Francisco, and I imagine that I'll be spending even more time there in the near future, since someone I'm rather crazy about is moving there.
I've also eaten Ethiopian food for the first time, talked my beloved into getting a very foxy faux-hawk, bought crap at garage sales, slurped oysters, been to the Dore Alley Fair, scheduled an MRI for myself*, plotted to get my driver's license and take over the world, read some Harry Potter and some Phoebe Gloeckner and Middlesex, and watched "Singin' in the Rain" for the ten millionth time. I still haven't cleaned up the mess on my desk, nor have I caught up on my sleep completely. But I'm happy.

Now, if only someone would open some baths here like the Russian Baths in NY...

*nothin' to worry 'bout, folks!
